Floral Planning Tips

We are here to support you and guide you every step of the process (:

Trust Us.

Don’t feel like you need to have it all figured out. There is no silly questions. We’d love you to ask all the questions so that there are no gaps and both parties have clarity and we can better give our guidance in your planning process.

Simplify It.

This is your once in a life time kinda occasion. Enjoy the process. If things are getting too overwhelming, it might be good to sit back and see how you can simplify things that will not add on more stress financially, emotionally and physically.

Make it Personal.

Flowers are a great way to add your personal touch. Don’t shy away from colours or textures. They can show off your personality. There are no real rules. It’s your day and rather than feeling like you need to check things off the lists, think about what is really important for you and your partner and how can your special day reflect that.

Finer Details.

As florist, we don’t have much control with the products that we are working with. We are dependent on mother nature. Trust that we have taken the time to build a relationship with you to know what you would love. To get the most out of your florist, leave the final decision on individual blooms to us.

Be Open.

Don’t be too fixated on a specific design or specific flower variety. Floral design is an art with some problem solving needed for the entire design to come together. Hear our perspective and ideas on how we can help you make your dream day come to life.

Budget.

Set aside around 15% of your total wedding budget for flowers. If you are wanting flowers to be a big part of your wedding then aim for around 25 - 30% of your total budget.
