Adopting environmentally friendly practices is a huge part of who we are. We are mindful about the ground we stand on, this place we call home and all the wonderful life she holds.
We try our best to source local WA/Australian grown blooms for your events and use as little imported flowers as possible. Our mechanics are all reusable and no floral foam is used in our designs.
We draw inspiration from textures, movies and artwork, colours and movements in nature. We think of YOU when we come up with our designs and arrangements making them intentional.
Chasing Laurels started as a passion project and creative outlet. We hope that we will never be fully satisfied with our creative pursuit and continue to push our own boundaries to create for you and hopefully have too much fun along the way!
Hi, I’m Joan.
Chasing Laurels is a step towards being brave and stepping out of your comfort kind of adventure. We are dreaming big and making it happen one small step at a time.
Together with my husband Nathan, we started picking up various hands on projects around the house that we were renovating and found this new sense of fulfilment seeing things come to fruition.
The next thing, we were working on one of our friend’s wedding flowers and something sparked. Doing wedding flowers for friends became a thing and one thing led to the next and we were doing weddings for people we didn’t know.
So here’s to us chasing after dreams and desires to create flower magic xx
